Your obligations as an employer

Every employee seen, every fitness decision recorded, under the rules of their country

In most African countries, the employer must arrange a pre-employment medical, then periodic check-ups, and keep proof of each employee’s fitness for work. DI-Africa organises these campaigns for the teams you entrust to it as well as for your own workforce.

Method

A campaign in five steps

01

Planning

Import of your employee base, campaign set-up, allocation of sites and medical teams.

02

On-site data capture

Tablet entry, offline, with seven medical modules: history, clinical examination, sight, hearing, biometrics, vaccinations, additional tests.

03

Transmission

Automatic synchronisation as soon as the network is back. No data lost on remote sites.

04

Medical validation

The accredited occupational physician gives the decision, fit or unfit, through a secure interface. Field and physician roles are separate.

05

Reporting

Dashboards per site and department, certificates, exports, invoicing per subsidiary and monthly close.

The tool

What the application does

Designed by the DI-Africa Digital Factory for multi-site campaigns, it is now the occupational health module of Sanvi.

Mobile data capture

Tablet or phone application, seven medical tabs, usable without network.

Secure validation

Fit / unfit / pending decisions by the physician, strict separation of roles.

Offline mode

Works on sites without connectivity, automatic synchronisation afterwards.

Real-time dashboard

Progress per site and department: fit, pending, to be scheduled.

HR and invoicing integration

Connection to Odoo: employees, invoices per subsidiary, payroll deductions.

Digital medical record

History per employee, certificates, export, confidential access.

Compliance

The medical decision stays with the physician

The tool organises, captures and records. Fitness is always declared by an authorised professional, in line with the country’s regulations. Health data is securely hosted, with authenticated, role-based access.

Accredited occupational physician

Each campaign is placed under the responsibility of a physician accredited by the country’s authorities.

Partner clinic

In the Congo, campaigns rely on an accredited partner clinic in Pointe-Noire and on the DI-Africa care network.

Fitness certificate

Issued after validation, filed in the employee’s record and available for your audits.

Confidentiality

Health data kept separate from the HR file; the employer receives the fitness decision, not the medical detail.

Who it is for

Three user profiles

Companies and HR directors

You must prove your employees’ fitness for work, across several sites or subsidiaries, without tying up your HR teams.

Frequently asked questions

Occupational health in Africa: your questions

Which medical examinations are compulsory for an employer in Africa?

Depending on the country: the pre-employment medical, periodic check-ups (often yearly, more frequent for exposed jobs), the return-to-work visit after prolonged leave and, sometimes, the end-of-contract visit. Our guide details the obligations country by country; DI-Africa applies them for the employees it manages.

How does a medical campaign with DI-Africa work?

We import your employee base, schedule visits per site, send a medical team (medical bus or mobile team in the Congo, partner clinic elsewhere), capture data on tablets even without network, then the accredited occupational physician validates each fitness decision. You receive the certificates and a progress dashboard.

Does the application work without an internet connection?

Yes. It is designed for remote sites: data capture is fully offline and synchronises automatically as soon as a connection is available.

Who declares fitness for work?

Always an occupational physician accredited by the country’s authorities. The tool organises data capture and keeps the record, but the medical decision remains human and confidential: the employer receives the fitness decision, not the examination detail.

Can we use the application for our own medical department?

Yes. The application is the occupational health module of Sanvi, developed by the DI-Africa Digital Factory. We deploy it for your HSE department, infirmary or clinic, with training and, if you wish, integration with your Odoo payroll.
