Health administration on your behalf

You entrust your staff to us. We take care of their health.

From enrolment to monthly reporting, DI-Africa administers the health cover of your employees and their families: access to care, provider payment, employee share deducted from payroll, employer share re-invoiced, statistics.

How it works

The health journey, handled end to end

A monthly cycle aligned with payroll: you approve, we do the rest.

01

Enrolment

Your employees and their dependants are registered in Odoo under your contract rules: spouse, children, age limit, ceilings, exclusions. A digital third-party-payment card is issued to each one.

02

Access to care

Consultation, pharmacy, tests, optical, hospitalisation: the beneficiary goes to a network partner with a care voucher. Telephone helpline for emergencies.

03

Checks

Dependants validated before any access, prescriptions checked, ceilings and exclusions applied. Uncovered cases are flagged to you rather than invoiced.

04

Provider payment

DI-Africa pays the network’s pharmacies, clinics, hospitals and opticians directly. Full third-party payment: your employees pay nothing upfront.

05

Employee share, employer share

The employee share is deducted from the payroll we run for you. The employer share is re-invoiced each month, with the detail per employee and per type of care.

06

Statements and statistics

Every month: consumption per site, per type of care and per beneficiary, utilisation rate, cost per employee. Anonymised data to steer your health policy.

Included in administration on your behalf

Occupational health, kept to each country’s rules

Pre-employment medical, periodic check-ups, return-to-work visit, fitness certificate: we plan the campaigns, mobilise an accredited occupational physician and keep each employee’s history. Obligations are met even on remote sites.

  • ✓Pre-employment medical before starting and periodic check-ups according to the job
  • ✓Fitness decision by an accredited physician, certificate filed in the record
  • ✓Medical bus or mobile team on your sites, offline data capture
  • ✓Digital medical record per employee, confidentiality guaranteed
  • ✓Campaign reporting: fit, pending, to be scheduled
Two models

Care network run by DI-Africa or partner insurance company

Depending on the country and your policy, cover relies on our own network or on a group policy. In both cases, you have a single point of contact.

Congo

Care network run by DI-Africa

The DI-Africa Congo Health Unit directly runs a network of 36 partners in 6 cities, with third-party payment, medical bus, helpline and medical checks. Negotiated rates, no intermediary: every franc spent goes to care.

Other group countries

Group policy with a partner insurance company

The DI-Africa subsidiary in the country takes out and administers the policy on your behalf: choice of insurer and level of benefits, enrolments and cards, claims follow-up, premiums re-invoiced with payroll, one monthly statement.

Describe your needs to us →

The two models can be combined: managed network for local teams, assistance and evacuation policy for expatriates, for example.

A network that grows with you

New areas, new specialists

Opening a site in an uncovered area? Your employees need a cardiologist, a paediatrician, a dentist? We sign up new providers and extend the network on request.

Frequently asked questions

Health administration: your questions

What is health administration on your behalf?

It means entrusting DI-Africa with the full administration of your employees’ health cover: beneficiary enrolment, third-party-payment access to a care network, provider checks and payment, employee share deducted from payroll, employer share re-invoiced and monthly reporting. You set the cover policy, we apply it.

What does the care network in the Congo cover?

Consultations, pharmacy, laboratory and imaging tests, optical, hospitalisation and maternity at 36 partners (pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, opticians, practices) in Pointe-Noire, Brazzaville, Dolisie, Nkayi, Loutété and Mindouli. Benefits, ceilings and exclusions are set by your contract.

How are dependants managed?

Each dependant (spouse, child) is declared, documented and validated before any access to care, under your contract rules: number, age limit, ceilings. Care vouchers are linked to the beneficiary, which allows tracking per person and prevents unauthorised cover.

What if we prefer an insurance company?

In the group’s countries outside the Congo, this is the standard model: DI-Africa takes out and administers a group policy with a partner insurance company on your behalf. In the Congo, we favour our directly managed network, which is more flexible and less costly for companies.

Which statements do we receive each month?

A re-invoicing statement detailed per employee and per type of care, a statement of payroll deductions, and a consumption dashboard: utilisation rate, average cost per beneficiary, breakdown per site and per provider. Personal health data remains confidential.

Can you extend the network to an area or a speciality?

Yes. We sign up new providers (clinics, pharmacies, specialists) in the areas where you open sites and add specialities on request. The network in the Congo grew from Pointe-Noire and Brazzaville to six cities this way.
